What does the Advisor Star rating mean?
Simply, an Advisor Star Rating positions the rated individual among the elite in their profession. Having a three, four or five star rating from Advisor Star is a valuable and marketable "credential" that demonstrates an advisor's knowledge, experience and skill.

Each rating is explained thoroughly on the Advisor Rating System page.

  Who performs the rating?

These independent researchers analyze the information provided by the advisor in their application and collect information through a personal interview with the advisor.

This information is objectively scored and a rating is assigned to the advisor. These individuals also develop the Advisor Star Report that accompanies the rating.

What if I don't like the score (rating) I receive?
  Who do I contact?
How can I get the score changed?
Ratings are done by independent researchers, once a rating is assigned it cannot be changed unless an error is found or if additional information is provided during the advisors six-month review.
